For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience. Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide. About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Deal Desk Analyst to join the Deal Desk team within our Revenue Operations function. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role at the center of how we structure, price, and close business globally — partnering with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product to turn deals into signed revenue. You will lead the quote-to-contract execution cycle for our global sales team while helping build the systems, processes, and playbooks that scale a world-class Deal Desk. As the organization continues through a period of rapid growth, we are looking for someone who wants to shape the function rather than inherit it — bringing structure to ambiguity, modernizing how deals get done, and raising the bar for commercial excellence. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Global Deal Desk, and is preferably based in a hybrid capacity out of our London office, working standard US business hours. What you will do Deal Management — Own the day-to-day deal review and closing process end to end, including deal approvals, deal structuring, and quote configuration within Vercel CPQ, ensuring every deal is executed accurately and on time. Commercialization & Execution — Drive deal execution in close partnership with Finance, Legal, GTM, Partnerships, Product, and Pricing. Design, build, and continuously optimize the sales and deal processes that bring new pricing, packaging, and product launches to market. Trusted Advisor — Serve as the subject-matter expert for the Sales organization, providing deal guidance and operational support. Approach complex, non-standard deals with creativity and sound judgment, developing practical solutions in ambiguous situations. Revenue Integrity — Act as the gatekeeper of data hygiene and opportunity data, partnering with GTM and Finance on audits for revenue recognition, financial reporting, and forecasting. Insights & Enablement — Analyze deal performance and market trends to develop new sales motions, deal levers, and training materials that increase sales velocity and reduce business risk, in partnership with the Pricing and Field Enablement teams. Operational Excellence — Identify opportunities to streamline, enhance, and automate processes. Translate needs into clear business requirements and leverage AI and automation to scale. About you 4+ years of experience in deal desk, pricing, quote-to-cash, contract management, or a related Revenue Operations or Sales Operations function within the technology sector. A proven record of partnering effectively with Sales and cross-functional teams to move complex deals forward. Demonstrated experience in project management and process improvement. A collaborative team member who consistently delivers excellent sales support. A resourceful self-starter with strong critical-thinking and creative problem-solving skills. You think naturally about operational implications and downstream impact. You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and operate effectively amid change and ambiguity. Nice to have Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ (or a comparable CPQ platform) A track record of using AI or automation to improve operational workflows. Bonus If You: You’re located within London (HQ). We have offices for you to help build our office culture! Benefits & Compensation: Competitive compensation package, including equity. People Systems Manager, Workday
About Vercel: Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience. Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide. About the Role: We're looking for a People Systems Manager, Workday to join our People team and build the foundation for how People technology operates at Vercel. We've recently implemented Workday as our system of record, and we're just getting started. As we expand its capabilities and build toward public company-ready operations, we need someone to own the architecture, security, business processes, and governance behind it. We're building a headless People technology experience, with Workday as the engine behind it, not a traditional HR technology stack. Employees and managers will initiate transactions, access their data, and navigate People processes directly from the tools they already use. You'll make that possible, working closely with integration engineers to connect Workday's security model and Business Process Framework to the experiences we're building. This is a hands-on IC role with real ownership over how Workday operates at Vercel. You'll set standards, make architectural decisions, and build systems that scale, reducing manual work, strengthening controls, and creating data our growing People analytics function can trust. If you’re based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. Partner with integration engineers to design business processes and security configurations for transactions initiated through Slack, internal apps, and other tools, making Workday accessible beyond its native interface without compromising governance or data integrity. Establish role-based security, segregation of duties, change management, and audit controls from the ground up, and automate what's needed for SOX, SOC 2, and public company readiness without adding friction. Configure and optimize business processes for core People operations, equity, commissions, one-time payments, and clawbacks, partnering with Finance, Total Rewards, Payroll, and Legal to bring new capabilities into Workday accurately and auditably. Set standards for data governance, reporting architecture, calculated fields, and data quality, so Workday stays a reliable source of truth as our analytics and self-service reporting mature. Own release management, regression testing, and configuration change control. Find the root causes of recurring friction and fix them through better configuration, automation, and process design, and partner with auditors on evidence, walkthroughs, and remediation. About You: 5+ years of hands-on Workday HCM experience across security, business processes, reporting, and core configuration. Strong grasp of Workday's security architecture and Business Process Framework, including role-based access, security groups, business process policies, approvals, and segregation of duties. Experience building or evolving a Workday environment, including configuration standards, governance frameworks, and scalable business processes in a growing organization. Experience designing and implementing Workday security, governance, and internal controls that support SOX compliance and audit readiness. Workday reporting and data management experience, including calculated fields, advanced and composite reports, data validation, and reporting governance. Experience in interconnected HR technology environments, understanding how Workday security, business processes, and data architecture affect downstream systems and automated workflows. Bonus If You: Have experience with Workday Payroll or complex compensation processes, including equity and commission payments. Have helped a high-growth technology company scale its People Systems infrastructure or prepare for an IPO. Forward-Deployed Engineer
About The Role: We are looking for a Senior Forward-Deployed Engineer to join our Professional Services team. This role is focused on working directly alongside developer teams in our most strategic enterprise customers to drive transformational outcomes across frontend modernization, platform migrations, and AI adoption. In this role, you will lead complex Next.js migrations, architect high-performance applications, and build production AI solutions - all within customer environments. You'll work hands-on-keyboard alongside customer teams, whether you're migrating a legacy React application to App Router, conducting a deep-dive code audit, or deploying production agents using Vercel's eve framework and AI SDK. Our Forward-Deployed Engineers operate with high agency and autonomy. You'll navigate ambiguous enterprise environments, assess technical debt, design migration strategies, and deliver measurable business value - all while building long-term relationships that expand our partnership with each customer. There are two main profiles for this role: Next.js experts, and AI builders. Next.js experts work on deep customer code optimization, performance audits, AEO and SEO, and teaching customers how to build Next.js apps with AI instrumentation - such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, etc with Next.js and Vercel agent skills. The AI builder profile is less focused on deep Next.js experience, and more on identifying, evangelizing, and building AI applications and agentic workflows. Your job in this role will be to understand customers’ businesses, scope, design, and build AI agents, and prove their value. The two profiles are not mutually exclusive and we appreciate expertise in both. You will report to the Global Manager of Forward Deployed Engineering. This role is remote-first with travel to customer sites expected occasionally. Travel requirements vary, but most of our engineers travel no more than 3-4 days every other month. What You Will Do: Build production AI solutions using Vercel's eve framework, AI SDK, and AI Cloud infrastructure, including conversational interfaces, production agents, MCP servers, and agentic workflows that transform customer operations. Lead complex frontend migrations - modernizing legacy React, Vue, or other frameworks to Next.js, including Pages to App Router transitions, incremental adoption strategies, and large-scale codebase transformations. Automation of migrations is key to engineering efficiency. Conduct code audits and help analyze and improve website performance, analyzing customer codebases for performance bottlenecks, architectural anti-patterns, and optimization opportunities - delivering actionable roadmaps that drive measurable improvements. Architect and implement high-performance Next.js applications, leveraging App Router, Server Components, streaming, ISR, and advanced rendering strategies to meet enterprise scale and performance requirements. Embed with strategic customers to build production applications - working within their systems, understanding their constraints, and shipping TypeScript code that goes live. Drive enablement and knowledge transfer through workshops, pair programming, and documentation - ensuring customer teams can extend and maintain solutions independently. Navigate complex enterprise environments by building relationships with stakeholders across engineering, product, and executive teams - translating technical capabilities into business outcomes. Contribute to our service evolution by identifying repeatable patterns, building reusable components, and sharing implementation insights back to Product and Engineering teams. About You: 6+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 2 years in a customer-facing technical role (consulting, solutions architecture, forward deployed engineering, or technical founder experience). Experience using AI instrumentation such as harnesses, skills, and MCPs to build and deploy web applications, backend systems, and/or agentic workflows. High agency with comfort in ambiguity - you thrive when given a problem to solve rather than a task to complete, and you can navigate complex organizations to create a plan and drive a project. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to conduct technical discovery, present to executives, mentor engineers, and build lasting customer relationships - all with a low-ego, collaborative approach. Business acumen to understand customer objectives, translate technical capabilities into ROI, and identify expansion opportunities throughout engagement lifecycles. Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites for embedded work and relationship building. Next.js-focused Candidates: Expert-level TypeScript skills - You are fluent in TypeScript and have strong opinions on type safety, patterns, and tooling. Deep expertise in Next.js, with a proven track record of architecting and delivering complex applications using App Router, Server Components, server-side rendering (SSR), static generation (SSG), and incremental static regeneration (ISR), and personalization. Demonstrated experience leading frontend migrations - you've converted legacy applications to Next.js, navigated incremental adoption strategies, and understand the challenges of migrating large codebases in production environments. Mastery of React and its ecosystem, including advanced state management, performance optimization, and modern patterns like streaming, suspense, and concurrent features. AI-focused Candidates: Production experience with LLMs and AI applications, including agent development, cloud sandbox & filesystem agent patterns, human-in-the-loop patterns, and value optimization. Familiarity with Vercel's eve framework and AI SDK is strongly preferred. Ability to identify business cases for AI agents - many customers need guidance not only on how to build AI agents, but where and why to use AI. You’ll need to listen and understand a day-in-the-life of customers’ teams to build proposals. Bonus if you: Have led enterprise AI transformation initiatives, including building production agents that automated manual processes or replaced legacy systems. Have taught others how to develop software using AI, best practices for building agents, harnesses, skills, and MCPs. Have led large-scale migrations from legacy frameworks (Create React App, Gatsby, custom webpack setups) to Next.js in enterprise environments. Have expertise in performance optimization and Core Web Vitals, with experience diagnosing and fixing LCP, CLS, and INP issues at scale. Have contributed to the Next.js, React, or AI SDK open-source projects, or maintain popular related libraries. Have experience with enterprise deployment patterns including security reviews, compliance requirements, and multi-region architectures. Have a background in financial services, healthcare, retail/e-commerce, or media - industries with complex frontend ecosystems and growing AI adoption. Have spoken at conferences or published thought leadership on frontend architecture, migrations, or AI applications. Benefits: Great compensation package and stock options. Inclusive Healthcare Package. Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills. Flexible Time Off - Flexible vacation policy with a recommended 4-weeks per year, and paid holidays. Remote Friendly - Work with teammates from different time zones across the globe. We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed. With a focus on AI-accelerated workflows and next-generation developer ecosystems, you will have the opportunity to meet fast-moving teams where they are, helping them lay strong engineering foundations and broadening your impact to the developer community at large. This is a unique opportunity to use both your engineering depth and authentic storytelling skills to shape how the next wave of builders approach software health, scalability, and observability. What You’ll Do: Help developers hone their craft in an AI-accelerated world by exploring how AI coding assistants and rapid-prototyping tools change software workflows, and guiding teams on how to balance rapid prototyping with established engineering practices around performance, code health, and system reliability. Build in public by creating authentic, peer-to-peer technical content, sharing your engineering insights directly where modern developers collaborate in person and online. An AI-fluent developer who natively leverages AI coding assistants and rapid-prototyping tools as a core part of your regular, day-to-day development workflow. Multi-stack familiar, comfortable writing and debugging code across multiple programming languages (such as JavaScript/TypeScript or Python) and experienced with deployment paradigms spanning next-gen platforms and traditional cloud ecosystems. An authentic communicator with approximately 3+ years of experience in technical storytelling and community engagement, backed by a publicly available portfolio of peer-to-peer artifacts like GitHub repositories, technical blogs, video walkthroughs, or public speaking presentations. A forward thinker who loves self-driven exploration of emerging technologies, and is deeply passionate about developer education, mentorship, and helping other engineers hone their craft. Bonus points: Active community presence or leadership: You are an active participant, contributor, or moderator in developer spaces (such as meetups, Discord, Reddit, or open-source ecosystems focused on next-gen tech). Workday Integrations Developer
About the Role: We’re reinventing how People Operations runs at Vercel — and this role sits right at the center of it. You’ll help us build and integrate Vercel-powered tools that replace legacy busywork with something genuinely fast and modern. If you get excited about composable HR tech and shipping tools people actually want to use, this is that role. You’ll also own and evolve our core Workday integrations, partnering closely with People, Finance, IT, and Engineering stakeholders to keep our HR systems reliable, secure, and scalable. This role blends hands-on integration work with real functional fluency in People Operations — you’ll need to understand not just how data moves between systems, but why our stakeholders need it to move that way. You will report to the Director of People Operations, Infrastructure & Services and will be located in one of our hub locations (San Francisco, New York, or Austin). What You Will Do: Help us build the future -- build and integrate Vercel-powered internal People tools that will define how this team works, and support our push towards a headless HR tech stack Build, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors/Cloud Connect, Workday Studio, APIs) that support key People Operations and Finance workflows. Partner directly with People Operations, Finance, IT, and Engineering stakeholders to understand process requirements and translate them into reliable, well-documented integration solutions. Develop working knowledge of core People Operations processes — like hire-to-retire, compensation, benefits, and org management — to inform sound integration and system design decisions. Monitor integration health, troubleshoot failures, and drive fixes in partnership with both technical and functional stakeholders. Maintain clear documentation of integration logic, field mappings, and processes for cross-team visibility. Contribute to testing, security, and change-management practices that keep our HR system integrations resilient as we scale. About You: Experience with generative AI and agentic coding platforms Excited by headless/composable HR tech — you want to build and integrate tools and APIs that go beyond a core HRIS, not just maintain the status quo. 4+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors/Cloud Connect, Workday Studio, and/or APIs. Working knowledge of XML/XSLT, calculated fields, and the Workday Business Process Framework; exposure to Workday security configuration is a plus. Genuine interest in People Operations — you're comfortable learning the functional "why" behind a process, not just the technical "how," and enjoy building relationships with People and Finance stakeholders. Strong communicator who can translate between technical integration details and non-technical stakeholder needs. Comfortable owning discrete integration projects independently, with guidance from senior team members on complex or ambiguous problems. A plus if you have experience using Workday Extend to build applications. Compensation & Benefits: Competitive compensation package, including equity. Inclusive Healthcare Package. Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills. Flexible Time Off. We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed. The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $160,000 - $195,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role. Your recruiter can share more details during the hiring process. Disclosures: Privacy: Please review our Job Applicant Privacy Policy for more information on how we handle your data.
